Most core-values exercises hand you a list of eighty words and ask you to circle ten. That tells you which words you like. It does not tell you what you are actually spending your life on, or what is quietly paying for it.
This prompt goes the other way. It asks five plain questions, one at a time, and works out your values from your answers. Then it writes one small move for today.
From your five answers it suggests three values, one or two words each, with a line in your own words for what each one means. You change any that do not fit. Then it writes your compass card, under eighty words, and your first small move for today.
Question two is the one that does the work. Almost nobody answers it without a pause, and the pause is the point. The thing being sacrificed is usually a value you already hold. You did not need a worksheet to find it. You needed to be asked.
Question five matters too. A value you cannot act on with the time, energy and money you actually have today is a wish. The prompt writes the move inside your limits, not around them.
